In the October 6 Episode of Buddha, King Shudhodhan's attempts to
insulate his son from the sufferings of the world, fails again when a
subject, whom he had confined to the camp for sick and the ailing,
rushes to the royal palace. The subject (Mahi) informs the monarch about
the plight of people in the camp. King Shudhodhan orders trader Gauri
Gajanan's arrest for failing to rush food to the camps. Gauri flees on
